Lanes and Assignments
Each workout is tailored for six levels of skill. Accordingly, the team is divided into six groups by speed. In order of increasing speed, these groups are named Tortugas, Dolphins, Otters, Sharks, Humpbacks, and Orcas. Every Monday the groups move two lanes to the right, allowing each group a wall lane (where the coaches can offer more personal attention) for one week out of every three.
